Job seekers need to pay more attention to how they present themselves as a candidate for work now more than ever.
Some of the key tips:
1) Have a resume with accurate info that is up to date. Always have at least 2 referees, never write “referees on request”.
2) If a prospective employer asks for more info, or for specific items to be included in your application, do it!
3) The application process is all about selling yourself as a wise choice, put the effort into not only your resume, but return calls, dress well for interview and be polite.
This may seem obvious to most, but many applicants miss the mark with the three tips above.
